Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Assist with audit preparation and coordination
  • Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
