As Director of Business Development, you will lead our efforts to identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Summr's market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and client relationships
- Lead end-to-end deal processes from origination to close
- Collaborate with leadership on market expansion and go-to-market strategies
- Build and manage a pipeline of business opportunities
- Represent Summr at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships
- Proven track record of closing complex deals and driving revenue growth
- Deep network within financial services, fintech, or related industries
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
